I’m a 23-year-old woman in a
relationship. I haven’t had my
periods for a couple of months.
At first I thought I was pregnant,
then a fluid which smelled like I
was on my periods came out of my
private part. I took treatment, but
nothing has changed. Please help.
Dr Eve answers:
Irregular periods happen to
young women and this can
be unsettling. Periods are not
only irregular but they also can be
different each time they appear.
Your fluid may be a form of
menstruation. It may also be a sign
of infection. Get the clinic to put you
onto a contraceptive to regulate
your periods and always condomise.
